As a high school counselor at a highly competitive local high school he has a strong working knowledge of the college admissions and application process. He has completed over two thousand successful college placements ranging from Ivy League universities to specialized technical schools, and has worked with students applying to over a thousand different colleges across the U.S., Canada and Europe. He is member of the NYS School Counselor Association, National Association for College Admissions Counseling and currently the only National Board Certified Counselor in Western New York. |
Over the years he has helped demystify the college process with seminars and workshops. These include college selection implementing the three tiered method, interviewing skills, college essay and resume writing, and career planning.
Phil is originally from the Finger Lakes region. He is married and has two daughters, one in college and one in high school.
